Chirec Delta Auderghem

Construction by Valens of the Chirec hospital complex in Auderghem.

Description of the work: Lot 1: Structural work (- 3 to + 6) + horizontal waterproofing + parking lot, Lot 2: Facades, Lot 3: screws.

Particularity: interference with the SNCB line in service.

  • Surface area of ​​all trays except parking: 104,000 m²
  • Right-of-way: 19,000 m²
  • 550 beds and 32 operating rooms
  • Number of men for the main workpiece: 150 workers
  • Concrete - cast in place (excluding piles): 45.000 m³ (4,500 mixers)
  • Concrete for piles 10.000 m³ (1.000 mixers)
  • 1,800 piles
  • Steel to be installed on site (excluding piles, excluding prefab): 5,500 T (240 trucks)
  • Advancement worksite shellwork: 2.000 m² / week 
  • 200 flights of prefabricated stairs
  • Lighter slabs: 45,000 m²
  • Realization of 2 radiotherapy blocks: 1 to 2 m thick magnetite concrete walls
  • Roofing slab with a thickness of 2; 1 m, locally also in magnetite concrete
  • Concrete magnetite used on site: ± 1.000 m³
