RER works

Since 2007, several companies of the group are involved in the RER works, more specially in Nivelles, La Hulpe and Anderlecht.

In Anderlecht, Fondedile has made walls, nails and jet grouting anchors for the JV AB-Valens. Nails being 30cm thick and 17m long. The wall is made, using 20.5m long piles with a diameter varying between 60cm and 90cm having the HEB280 profile, all being run from a small steeply sloping platform.

In Nivelles, the JV Duchêne-Valens performed following works.
 

On the railway line L124 Brussels Midi - South Charleroi : put onto 4 tracks and increase of the speed to 160 km/h.

• Construction of local anti-noise walls at the Rue G. Willame
• Replacement of the Bridge in the rue des Déportés
• Construction of a storm basin
• Construction of a underneath rail passage giving access to the platforms from the parking
• Construction of a underneath rail passage giving access to the platforms and to the rue G. Willame and the travelers Building
• Construction of a underpass from Avenue de Burlet to rue G. Willame.
• Removing a passageway under existing railway lines at the station
• Development of  a passageway under existing municipality lines
• Replacement of the Bridge in rue Coparty
• Construction of a car park over 3 levels (R+2) situated under the future RER lines
• Various road works and bus stops (for public transport)
• Various hydraulic works
• Various small catenary and track works
