Renovating the harbour breakwater in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Herbosch-Kiere is responsible for placing the rocks and for the stone dumping.
The Carnot dyke in the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer is 3 km long and plays an important role in protecting the occupants and users of the port. The last repairs were carried out nearly 20 years ago, and the dyke is in urgent need of renovation. Together with Eiffage Genie Civil and ETMF, Herbosch-Kiere is responsible for these works.
The work will take 2 years, and Herbosch-Kiere has been commissioned to install 500 concrete blocks of 50 and 33 tonnes with the Atlantis and AM 11320. We will also place 88 boulders of 6 to 10 tonnes from the beach on the dyke to reinforce the foundations of the dyke.
